Partially related to the free-media problem, our culture is increasingly being re-defined by large corporations.

In terms of building healthy communities, we define health as:

“A healthy community is in balance with nature and the resources provided there,  plus has mechanisms that allow for healthy social bonding and interaction, as well as mechanisms that provide the community with a sense of higher sacred meanings.”

It should be kept in mind that a completely healthy and balanced society will likely not ever be achieved. Even the most evolved societies in history probably would not meet all the conditions of health and balance consistently.
